Schools & Theaters

Mics for the musical. Sound for the whole school year.

Wireless microphone packages for school theater, battery-powered PA for assemblies and fields, dance production in the gym, and honest advice when it's time to install instead of rent. We invoice against purchase orders and carry district-ready insurance.

Theater programs

Built for the spring musical

Mics by the channel

Shure QLX-D digital wireless at $90 per channel a night, handheld or lavalier, coordinated so 8, 12, or 16 channels play nicely in one auditorium. Sennheiser evolution handhelds from $70 for announcements and solos.

A console that keeps up

Allen & Heath CQ-18T or QSC TouchMix digital mixers from $80 a night, with scene saves so Thursday's sound check still works on closing night. iPad control lets your tech teacher mix from the house.

Run weekend, pay weekend

School shows run Thursday to Saturday. Our weekend rate covers Friday pickup to Monday return, so a full production weekend costs less than three separate nights.

Every rental is tested and demoed at pickup, and the phone gets answered on show nights. If a pack drops mid-show, we troubleshoot with you, not next Tuesday.

Assemblies, dances, and everything in the gym

Gyms eat sound. We rent systems sized for them: column arrays and powered speakers that reach the back bleachers without feeding back, wash lighting that turns a gym into a venue, and battery-powered speakers for pep rallies, fields, and graduation lines where the nearest outlet is a building away.

  • Battery-powered Electro-Voice Everse systems from $90 a night, no cables taped across a walkway
  • Dance packages with uplights, effect trees, and haze from $230
  • Stage decks, cable ramps, and pinspots for spotlighting seniors and award tables

Installs

Rent, or install?

If your program rents mics every semester, at some point owning makes more sense. We'll tell you when. Reeverb consults on auditorium and theater AV installs: speaker placement, wireless coordination, mixer choice, and training for staff and students, quoted honestly against what renting actually costs you a year. No brand quotas, no oversell.

Questions we actually get

How many wireless mics do we need for a school musical?

Most school musicals run 8 to 16 channels: leads on lavaliers or headsets, plus a few handhelds for featured numbers and announcements. We coordinate frequencies for your building so every channel is clean, and we'll help you cut the mic plot to fit the budget.

Can our school pay with a purchase order?

Yes. We invoice against district and school purchase orders, provide W-9s same day, and carry $2M/$3M liability insurance with certificates your district office can verify before the truck rolls.

Do you rent to students directly?

Rentals to schools run through faculty, a booster club, or the district, not individual students. That keeps the paperwork clean for everyone.

What does a weekend of show mics cost?

Weekend rate example: 8 channels of Shure QLX-D at $140 per channel for the whole Friday-to-Monday window plus a CQ-18T console at $120 lands around $1,240 for the full production weekend, cables included.

Do you install AV systems in schools?

We consult on and spec auditorium, theater, and gym AV systems, and we'll give you an honest rent-versus-install number. If an install is right, we design it and train your staff and students on it.
