Funeral Audio

Quiet support, clear sound.

Our role is not to be seen, but to quietly support in the background, ensuring every word is heard by the people who came to hear it.

What we handle

A graveside service has no walls to help the sound, and no second chances. We make sure the eulogy, the prayer, and the music reach the back row without anyone thinking about speakers. We cover services indoors or out, in a chapel, a church, a funeral home, or at the graveside.

The package covers a two-hour service for 30 to 80 guests: a wireless handheld microphone with a stand, two speakers on stands for even coverage, an iPad connection for music and recorded tributes, and an on-site technician for setup, sound check and teardown.

Our team arrives an hour and a half early and has everything ready and tested 20 minutes before the service begins. Nobody should be trying to pair a Bluetooth speaker or hunting for a microphone on the morning of a funeral.

We are used to working alongside funeral directors, clergy and family members, so the program moves from a musical tribute to a reading to a few words from the heart without a gap. Our technician dresses respectfully and stays out of the way.

Battery power is available for $80 more and runs about three hours with our sound system, so a remote graveside with no power is never a problem.

We build in a 20-minute buffer before every service, because these gatherings don't run on schedules and they shouldn't have to.

If the service needs additional microphones, a longer run time, or a second speaker position, we will build that in and quote it before the day. Nothing gets added to an invoice afterwards.

Questions we get every week

How much does funeral audio cost?

$750 for services within 20 miles of Salt Lake City, $900 out to 41 miles, technician and two hours included. Battery power for remote cemeteries adds $80.

How far in advance do we need to book?

Funerals don't give much notice, and we plan for that. Call us as soon as you have a date and time, and we'll do everything we can to be there.

Will the equipment be visible during the service?

Barely. Speakers are placed discreetly, cables are hidden or absent with battery power, and our technician stays back once the service begins.

Do you cover indoor services, or only graveside?

Both. Chapels, churches, funeral homes and indoor memorial services as well as graveside. The package is the same; we adjust speaker placement to the room.

What is included in the package?

A wireless handheld microphone with a stand, two speakers on stands, an iPad connection for music and recorded tributes, and an AV technician for the full two hours. We arrive an hour and a half early and are ready 20 minutes before the service.

Can you add microphones or extra time?

Yes. Additional microphones, a longer service, or a second speaker position are all straightforward. We quote the change before the day so the invoice never moves.
