Sundance week is the busiest rental stretch of our year. The afterparties and panel discussions around the festival need gear delivered into Park City on short notice, and this is what went out in 2024.
What rented
The two most requested setups were the Rane 12 MK2s paired with the DJM-S11, and CDJ-3000s and CDJ-2000s with a DJM-900 NXS2 in the middle. We carry four pairs and three of them were out at once during the week. Beyond the club setups we sent out uplighting and DDJ-1000 SRT and Rev7 controllers for several events.
If you are working Park City during the festival, the constraint is never the gear list — it is that everyone needs the same four things in the same seventy-two hours. Booking a week out is the difference between the setup you wanted and whatever is still on the shelf.
Delivering into Park City
Park City in January adds its own problems: canyon traffic, restricted loading windows at most venues, snow on the ramp and cold gear coming in from a truck. Everything above goes out cased for a reason.
