What you are renting
Two questions decide everything here: how far back is the last row, and how much light is in the room. A projector that looks brilliant in a dark ballroom is unreadable in a room with windows, and a screen sized for the front half of the room leaves the back half squinting.
Give us the room dimensions and the seating count and we will tell you what size screen you need before you rent anything.

How renting works
Pickup is 8am to 1pm on your event day at our Farmington warehouse, 21 minutes north of the Salt Lake City airport. Upon request we can demo the gear before you leave. Delivery, setup and an on-site technician are available as add-ons.
Projector and screen rental in Utah: every item and rate
Tap add on anything you want, set the quantity, then send the whole list at once from the bar at the bottom of the screen. Overnight is a 24-hour period. Weekend is Friday pickup, Monday morning return, and cables are included either way.

How to size it
Screen size
A rough rule is the furthest viewer sits no more than six times the screen height away. Bigger room, bigger screen, not a brighter projector.
Rooms with windows
Projection struggles against daylight. A video wall or large display holds up where a projector will not.
Sponsor loops and slides
One screen is usually enough. Two flanking screens read better in a wide room.
IMAG
Putting the speaker on screen needs a camera and a switcher, which is a crewed job rather than a pickup rental.
Questions we get every week
What size projection screen do I need?
As a rough guide, the furthest seat should be no more than six times the screen height from the screen. For most conference rooms that means a larger screen than people expect. Send us the room dimensions and headcount and we will size it.
Can I use a projector in a room with windows?
Not well. Ambient light washes out projection, and a brighter projector only partly compensates. In daylight rooms a video wall or a large display is the reliable answer.
How much does it cost to rent a projector and screen in Utah?
Rates are published on each item above. Most single-screen presentation setups are a few hundred dollars, and video walls are quoted flat because they include rigging and labour.
Do you rent video walls?
Yes, including a billboard-sized mobile wall we have run at conferences and outdoor events. Video walls are quoted flat rather than as a pickup rental because they include delivery, build and a technician.
Do you provide a technician for video?
For anything beyond a single screen and a laptop, yes, and we would recommend it. Switching, IMAG and multi-screen shows are crewed jobs.
