What you are renting
Most events fail on coverage rather than volume. A pair of tops on sticks covers a room of 150 comfortably; past that you are either adding boxes, adding subs, or moving up to a column or line array so the back of the room hears the same show as the front. If you tell us the room and the headcount, we will tell you which of these is enough and stop there.
Everything below is the same inventory that goes out on our own productions. Overnight is a 24-hour period. Weekend is Friday pickup, Monday morning return.

How renting works
Pickup is 8am to 1pm on your event day at our Farmington warehouse, 21 minutes north of the Salt Lake City airport. Upon request we can demo the gear before you leave. Delivery, setup and an on-site technician are available as add-ons.

How to size it
Speeches and meetings up to 100
A pair of powered tops on stands and a small mixer. No sub needed for voice.
Parties and receptions, 100 to 250
Two tops plus a sub. The sub is what makes music feel like music rather than background.
Bands and concerts
Tops, subs, and monitors, with a console that has enough channels for the whole backline.
Long or wide rooms
A column or line array, or a second pair of speakers on a delay, so the back rows are not 20 decibels down.
Questions we get every week
How much does it cost to rent speakers in Utah?
Rates are published on every item above. A QSC K12.2 powered top is $100 overnight, and full systems with subs and a console are itemized the same way, so you can add up your own total before you call us.
How many speakers do I need for my event?
As a rough guide, one pair of powered tops covers about 150 people for speech. Add a subwoofer once there is dancing, and add boxes or move to a line array past roughly 250 people or in a long room. Tell us the room and the headcount and we will size it for you.
Do I need a subwoofer?
For speeches, no. For anything with music that people are meant to dance to, yes. A sub is the difference between hearing music and feeling it.
Do speaker rentals include cables and stands?
Cables and extension cords are included with every rental. Speaker stands and tripods are separate line items so you are not paying for stands you already own.
Can you deliver and set up the PA?
Yes. Standard rentals are pickup from Farmington between 8am and 1pm on event day, and delivery, setup, strike, and an on-site technician are available as add-ons quoted by distance.
