Reeverb Entertainment was brought in by Rock the Mic Entertainment to provide sound and DJ services for the grand opening of Nexa, the new waste transfer station in Utah County.
The event ran as an open house: lunch, a classic and race car show, a row of new Teslas, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and public tours of the facility before it went into operation. We kept the music family friendly across the whole afternoon — oldies through the car show, top 40 as the crowd moved toward the ceremony. The stage was provided by Rock the Mic Entertainment.
What an outdoor ribbon cutting actually needs
Two things, and they pull in opposite directions. The speeches have to be intelligible to a crowd standing on open asphalt with no walls to help, and the music has to cover a lot without turning into noise for the neighbours. That means speakers on stands, aimed at people rather than at the sky, and a DJ position with shade — a laptop in direct April sun in Utah County will thermal throttle before lunch is over.

If you are planning an opening, ribbon cutting or a company open house, corporate AV and gear rentals are both priced on the site.
