What you are renting
Utah has a lot of event sites with a beautiful view and no power: lawns, overlooks, canyon floors, ranch property. The traditional answer is a gas generator, which works and also puts an engine noise underneath everything you are trying to amplify.
Battery power stations are silent. For a ceremony, a cocktail hour, or a small outdoor program they run the whole system with nothing to hear and nothing to smell.

How renting works
Pickup is 8am to 1pm on your event day at our Farmington warehouse, 21 minutes north of the Salt Lake City airport. Upon request we can demo the gear before you leave. Delivery, setup and an on-site technician are available as add-ons.
Portable power rental in Utah: every item and rate
Tap add on anything you want, set the quantity, then send the whole list at once from the bar at the bottom of the screen. Overnight is a 24-hour period. Weekend is Friday pickup, Monday morning return, and cables are included either way.

How to size it
Ceremonies
A single station comfortably runs a small PA and a couple of microphones for an hour or two.
Cocktail and dinner
Sound plus modest lighting. Add a second station if you are also running video.
All day outdoors
Plan for swaps or a generator. Batteries have a ceiling and it is better to know it in advance.
What it will not do
Large line arrays, big lighting rigs and heaters need real power. Tell us the load and we will be honest about it.
Questions we get every week
Can battery power run a PA system?
Yes, comfortably for small to medium systems. A single station will run a pair of powered speakers and microphones for a ceremony or cocktail hour. Larger systems and long days need either multiple stations or shore power.
Is it quieter than a generator?
Completely silent, and with no exhaust. That is the entire reason to use one. A gas generator running behind a ceremony is audible in every photograph's video and every recording.
How long does portable power last?
It depends on the load. A small PA and microphones will run for hours; add lighting and video and the window shortens. Tell us what you are powering and for how long and we will tell you how many stations it takes.
Do you rent gas generators too?
For loads beyond what batteries handle we will point you to the right solution rather than sell you something that will not do the job. Tell us the total load and the run time.
Can you deliver power to a remote site?
Yes. Delivery and setup are quoted by distance, and remote and destination sites are a large part of what we do.

Quantity is how many pieces of gear, not how many days. The overnight and weekend rates each cover the whole rental period. This list rides along with your message. This total is for gear only and does not include sales tax. Delivery, setup, and a tech to run your event are quoted separately.

So you know: inquiries usually get a reply within about 90 minutes during business hours, Monday through Thursday, 9am to 4pm. Sometimes we are at events focused on the project in front of us. In those cases it will usually be next business day for a response.
